EXPLORATION ’94 — Audrey nearing completion of 1100 lens

A feasibility study on the 1100 Lens zinc-copper-silver-gold project of Audrey Resources (TSE) near Rouyn-Noranda, Que., is expected to be completed by the end of March.

Under consideration is production at a rate of 2,200 tons per day. Audrey, controlled by Cambior (TSE), is the sole owner of the project; former joint-venture partner Metall Mining (TSE) decided last year to convert its 50% interest into a 4% net smelter return.

Work last year saw the shaft extended to 2,500 ft. and lateral development. Drilling representing 22,000 ft. was performed, the results of which indicate an extension to the deposit measuring about 300 ft. below the 8th level. The Northern Miner
