Inlet drilling Chibougamau bet

A 6,000-ft. diamond drilling program is under way on Inlet Resources’ (VSE) Grandroy mine project near Chibougamau in northern Quebec. Inlet said the first hole in the program will be drilled to a depth of 1,000 ft. in the Grandroy mine area where the target is about 150-200 ft. below previous intersections in the mine horizon.

Line cutting and geophysical surveys have also been completed on the Cork and Kill claim groups and the survey results are still awaited. The survey included an area that had been channel sampled and returned values of 0.26 oz. gold and 0.46 oz. silver per ton over a 7.5-ft. width. That sample also contained 3.46% copper. Line cutting and geophysical surveys are continuing over the company’s Q-claim group.
