Positive results at Audrey lens

Underground drilling at the 1100 lens project in northwestern Quebec indicates mineralization continues at depth.

The project, owned by Audrey Resources (ME) and Metall Mining (TSE), is undergoing exploration drilling on the 4650 level.

To date, six holes totaling 6,240 ft. have been drilled. Hole 93-08a intersected 5.9% zinc and 0.5% copper, as well as 1.86 oz. silver and 0.08 oz. gold per ton, over a true thickness of 69 ft. Hole 93-09 intersected 16 ft. of 5.0% zinc and 1.5% copper, as well as 2 oz. silver and 0.05 oz. gold. The company expects to drill more than 23,000 ft. by the end of the program. In addition, a feasibility study should be tabled in the first quarter of 1994.

The project is 19 miles northeast of Rouyn-Noranda.
