LAC doubles Toqui reserves

The deposit is 4,600 ft long and averages 900 ft in width and 25 ft in thickness. Diluted reserves are 3.99 million tons grading 7.6% zinc, 0.05 oz gold per ton, 0.71 oz silver, 0.23% copper and 0.46% lead. Additional possible reserves of three million tons grading 6.7% zinc, 0.03 oz gold, 0.54 oz silver, 0.13% copper and 0.33% lead have also been outlined.

Within the deposit, LAC has defined a high grade core totalling one million tons averaging 9.4% zinc, 0.1 oz gold and 1 oz silver with copper and lead credits. An adit is being driven into the Dona Rosa deposit in preparation for mining. The deposit is open to the southeast along strike.

The Toqui mine property covers 480 sq. miles of land. Operations are at a rate of 1,000 tons per day processing ore with an average grade of more than 6% zinc.
