With regard to the silver content his estimate is far and away too small.

An orebody of 142 million tons running 2.1 oz silver per ton would contain 300 million oz of silver. That’s 25 million lb which equals 12,500 short tons of silver — not the 12.5 tons stated. There’s a substantial difference between the two and the figures ought to be corrected, just for general interest. Wayne Mackenzie Nelson, B.C.
