News in Brief (April 24, 1989)

A reverse circulation drilling program by Tarzan Gold Inc. (ASE) on its property in Hurtubise Twp., Ont., has yielded gold in all 38 holes. Nine of the holes indicate a nearby bedrock source and one sample assayed at a grade of 0.5 oz gold per ton.

The property is located in the Ontario extension of the Casa Berardi belt and features a number of altered faults, iron formations and porphyries. A number of diamond drill targets have been identified from the reverse circulation drilling and accompanying geophysical studies.
