Ican probes beneath Racey gold property

After completing 30 holes before Christmas, Ican has two drill rigs on site which are attempting to outline a large porphyry-type deposit.

The first hole of the current winter program was drilled to a depth of 280 ft from surface. It averaged 0.033 oz gold per ton along its entire length and included 210 ft of grade 0.040 oz.

According to President Guenter Liedtke, step out drilling is continuing along a 2,000×4,000-ft grid and will go on until the company has outlined an orebody.

Prior to Christmas, the best results on the 1,000-acre property included 5 ft of 1.05 oz.
