The shares of Ramardo Holdings resumed trading this week on COATS. The company plans to conduct a drill program on its 76-claim Deniain Twp., gold property near Val d’Or, Que. Previous drilling on the property intersec ted 1.2 oz gold per ton over 3.5 ft.
Exxeter Resources fell to a low of 25 cents on volume of 116,900, and Gold Bar Resources was easier this week, trading 400 shares at $1.20. The company is funding a 5,000-ft drill program on a gold property in Chester Twp., near Gowganda, Ont.
Other issues which showed some activity were Pinetree Explorations at 24 cents and Matt Berry Mines at 30 cents -35 cents .
Legacy Explorations was firm at 10 cents . The company recently optioned a gold property near Larder Lake, Ont to Sudbury Contact Mines, which will spend $500,000 to earn a 60% interest.
South American Goldfields was steady at 67 cents -70 cents . The company has optioned large tracts of land in Guyana to Denison Mines and U.S.- based Homestake Mining.
