News in Brief (August 08, 1988)

Coeur D’Alene reports net income of $3.6 million(US) on revenue of $17.7 million during the second quarter of 1988 compared with $2.5 million on revenue of $9.9 million for the same period in 1987.

Net income for the first half of 1988 was $5.8 million or $0.59 per share on revenue of $33.0 million compared with $3.0 million or $0.37 per share on revenue of $15.0 million for the same period a year earlier.

Average silver and gold prices for the second quarter of 1988 were $6.80 per oz and $459.03 compared to $7.76 and $449.29 for the same period in the prior year.
