Tylox/Noranda Red Lake drilling completed

Drilling has been completed on the Newman Todd property held in joint venture by Tylox Resource Corp. and Noranda Exploration in the west Red Lake area of Ontario.

The Heath-Bull zone, where previous operators reported 0.23 oz gold per ton over 9.8 ft, was tested by two holes which intersected an extensive zone of hydrothermal oteration, typical of the Red Lake deposits, says Tylox President Gary R. Schell.

Portions of this zone in hole NT-86-13 returned 0.07 oz gold per ton over 48.2 ft and 0.22 oz gold per ton over 5 ft.

On the No. 1 zone, hole NT- 86-11, drilled beneath an old trench intersected a 23-ft section which averaged 0.08 oz gold per ton, including a 2.4-ft intersection of 0.28 oz gold per ton.

Mr Schell says the combination of trench and drill results has indicated significant gold mineralization over a strike length of 492 ft open to the west and at depth and adds that Noranda has recommended additional work.
