EXPLORATION ’99 – NEWS ROUNDUP — Copper Hill hits Nfld base metals

Preliminary drilling by Copper Hill (CUHL-C) has intersected copper-zinc-lead mineralization at its North Powderhorn Lake property, near Grand Falls, Nfld.

Hole 1, drilled vertically to a depth of 36 metres, pierced 27.4 metres containing up to 0.26% copper, 7.4% zinc and 0.15% lead, plus 9 grams silver per tonne. Mineralization is hosted by variably silicified sediments, tuffs or rhyolites.
