NEWS ROUNDUP — Romios drills Lundmark-Akow Lake

Toronto-based Romios Gold Resources (RGRI-C) has started drilling at its Lundmark-Akow Lake property in northwestern Ontario.

The junior plans to complete at least 3,000 ft. in an attempt to test targets that are believed prospective for gold deposits similar to the nearby Musselwhite gold mine.

Romios notes that its property is underlain by more than 23 km of banded iron formations analogous to those that host Musselwhite. The program is managed by Guowei Zhang, a structural geologist familiar with the features that control emplacement of gold at Musselwhite.
