Dynacor drills Siscoe property

Assays are awaited from the first stage of a drilling program completed by Dynacor Mines (DYN-M) at the Siscoe property, a former gold producer in the Val d’Or mining camp of northwestern Quebec.

The $1.2-million campaign started in August and will continue throughout 1998. The second stage of the 13,000-metre drill program is scheduled to begin shortly.

Dynacor notes that the most important targets of the program are zone 86 and the East and West zones. The company will drill-test the northern end of the property for possible extensions of mineralization found by another junior on a neighboring property.
