At the Fort la Corne property in Saskatchewan, five holes drilled to test geophysical targets have intersected kimberlite.
Partners Shore Gold (SGF-A) and Rio Nevada Mines (RN-A) report that caustic-fusion analyses of samples from the holes has so far yielded 72 diamonds.
About half the samples have yet to be analyzed. Three of the diamonds exceeded 0.5 mm in diameter.
