Far West lists on Alberta exchange

Junior Far West Mining has completed its initial public offering on the Alberta Stock Exchange.

A wholly owned subsidiary of 337 Sail View Venture, the company is engaged in the aquisition, exploration and development of uranium and lead-silver-zinc properties, primarily in Saskatchewan.

The offering, which grossed proceeds of $1.3 million, will be used by the company to fund exploration aimed at locating additional reserves.
