INSIDER TRADING — Directors of Goldnev Res. traded shares in August

Three directors of Goldnev Resources (VSE) traded shares of the company in the open market in August.

According to the Ontario Securities Commission’s OSC Bulletin, Leslie MacConnell, director, bought 30,000 shares at $1.10-$1.45 and sold 5,000 shares at $2.10-$2.15 to hold 60,000 shares. Naren Majithia, director, sold 25,000 shares at $2.07-$2.15 to hold no shares. Murray Pezim, a director who owns more than 10% of the company, exercised options and acquired 10,000 shares at 35 cents, in addition to purchasing 50,000 shares at $2.15-$2.25. He then sold 409,500 shares at $1.11-$2.25 to hold 50,000 shares and 200,000 options. Other transactions in August and September included: * Agnico-Eagle Mines (TSE) — Sean Boyd, senior officer, exercised options and bought 13,000 shares at $4.95 and sold 13,000 shares at $17.75-$18.50 to hold no shares and no options. John Clement, director and senior officer, sold 1,000 shares at $18.63 to hold 1,120 shares.

* Aur Resources (TSE) — Peter McCarter, director and senior officer, exercised options and acquired 25,000 shares at $3.30 and sold 25,000 shares at $7.25 to hold 25,000 shares and 300,000 options. Howard Stockford, director and senior officer, exercised options and acquired 150,000 options at $3.30 and sold 150,000 options at $6 to hold 500,000 options.

* Patrician Gold Mines (ASE) — Michael Pickens, director, sold 19,000 shares at 80 cents-87 cents to hold 211,910 shares.

* Pegasus Gold (TSE) — Frank Fletcher, senior officer, bought 47,100 shares at US$11.38-US$12.63 and sold 42,250 shares at US$13.25-US$13.38 to hold 4,950 shares. He was also granted 200 options at US$12.63 to hold 24,000 options. Jack Smith, director, bought 16,000 shares at US$9.88-US$12.75 and sold 16,000 shares at US$12.75 to hold no shares and 12,000 options.

* Repadre Capital (TSE) — Jonathan Goodman, director and senior officer, exercised options and acquired 180,000 shares at $1.70 and sold 180,000 shares at $4.40 to hold 5,000 shares and 100,000 options.
