LABRADOR NEWS ROUNDUP — Konrad to be drill-tested

Drills will soon begin turning on the Konrad property, 35 km west of the nickel-copper-cobalt discovery in Voisey Bay, Labrador.

Owner International CanAlaska Resources (VSE) plans to drill-test at least two primary geophysical targets.

The Alpha target, measuring 3,000 metres long and 50-100 metres wide, is highly conductive toward its centre, with an associated coincident magnetic response.

The Bravo target, 500 metres east of Alpha, is represented by coincident magnetic and electromagnetic conductors. This anomaly measures 1,000 metres along strike by up to 200 metres in width. CanAlaska expects its initial program to include five holes totaling about 750 metres.
