Nebex seeks new partner for Walsh Lake property

Although Barrick Gold (TSE) has dropped its option on the Walsh Lake property, owner Nebex Resources (ASE) is still encouraged by last winter’s drill results on the property, near Yellowknife, N.W.T.

Three gold zones were discovered on the property last winter, and drilling proved that a possible faulted extension of the Giant shear zone was mineralized. Nebex believes the results have boosted the property’s perceived potential.

The company is confident that discussions now under way will produce an agreement to continue exploration at Walsh Lake. The company prefers to advance exploration at the property by partnership, as it is currently bringing most of its resources to bear on its Albanian mineral concessions.
