Murgor drilling continues

More assay results were released by Murgor Resources (VSE) from drilling on its gold property in Quebec’s Barry Twp.

The junior reported results from seven holes of its second-phase, 8-hole program. All returned mineralization, except hole 95-17, which was drilled outside the mineralized zone to test an induced-polarization (IP) anomaly. This hole uncovered altered mafic volcanic rocks with negligible sulphides.

Murgor says the results of the second phase show that gold mineralization is focused along at least two en echelon, shallow, south-dipping, strongly quartz-albite-veined and altered pyritic zones. (See drill results at end of story.)

A summer program is planned, which would test geophysical targets associated with known zones of gold mineralization. Priority targets will include IP anomalies along the east and west projected extensions of the Main zone, as well as IP anomalies with previous drill intersections (0.19 oz. over 6 ft. in hole 85-3).
