JV Video: Toogood extends Quinlan, lines up Mélange

JV Video: Toogood extends Quinlan, lines up Mélange drillingToogood Gold CEO Colin Smith (R) chats with The Northern Miner’s Western Editor, Henry Lazenby, last week during the AME Roundup event in Vancouver.

Toogood Gold (TSXV: TGC; US-OTC: TGGCF) drilling last year expanded the Quinlan discovery at its 164-sq.-km project in Newfoundland and helped sharpen targets for the next round of step-outs.

The company drilled 2,000 metres in 33 holes and hit a mineralized felsic dyke in every Quinlan hole. The work pushed the target’s drill-defined footprint to about 350 metres of strike and about 240 metres down dip, with geophysics pointing towards the project-wide Mélange Contact.

“One of the high-priority targets we have to suss out is the intersection of those two structural trends,” CEO Colin Smith told The Northern Miner’s Western Editor, Henry Lazenby, last week during the AME Roundup event in Vancouver.

The Mélange Contact is a property-scale corridor that Toogood said now extends more than 15 km across its land package. Its first three holes there all hit gold.
