Zappa drilling Papa Grande play

A minimum 3,500-metre diamond drill program is under way on Zappa Resources’ (VSE) Papa Grande concession in southwestern Ecuador.

Anomalous gold soil geochemistry, along with outcrops of mineralized intrusive-breccia, define an area measuring 1,000 by 600 metres. Drilling will test the open-pit potential of several targets outlined by trenching. Values from recent trenching include 42 metres of 1.06 grams gold per tonne for TPG20; 60 metres of 1.1 grams for TPG31; 42 metres of 1.86 grams for TPG38; and 68 metres of 2.4 grams for TPG41.

On the adjoining Guadalupe concession, Zappa is evaluating previous drilling and trenching results.
