Wye cuts gold at Saganaga Lake

Recent drilling by Wye Resources (CDN) on its Saganaga Lake property 85 miles west of Thunder Bay, Ont., has encountered further gold mineralization.

Three holes totalling 500 ft. were drilled in December, 1992, to test the East and West Beaver Pond showings. Holes AJW-92-5 and AJW-92-6 both returned 0.15 oz. gold per ton over 5 ft. A third hole, AJW-92-4, returned 0.01 oz. gold over 53.5 ft.

Previous drilling on the Saganaga Lake property has yielded values up to 0.96 oz. gold over 19.3 ft.
