A second phase of drilling is expected to begin shortly on World Wide Minerals’ (TSE) Easter project in Nevada.
The new program, designed to increase reserves, is a followup to a 21-hole program carried out a few months ago.
The earlier work was successful in blocking out a reserve of 1.4 million tons grading 0.065 oz. gold per ton in the Main Vein zone. The program also confirmed that a cross fault has apparently offset the Main Vein to the west. A geophysical survey, now under way, has located the offset and indicates that the extension known as the West Vein substantially widens beyond the fault.
One of the aims of the new program is to follow up a previous intersection in Hole 8, which yielded 0.294 oz. over 50 ft. Any expansion of this high-grade intersection will significantly increase the overall grade of total reserves.
