The latest assay results from World Wide Minerals’ (TSE) Easter Project in Nevada show that continuity and gold grades are significantly better than those encountered during the previous program.
In addition, the extension of the Main Vein to the east has been confirmed. Four holes were drilled to follow up a previously announced high-grade intersection of 0.194 oz. gold per ton over 90 ft. in Hole 8. Significant intersections included: Hole 28, which ran 0.092 oz. over 105 ft., including 0.167 oz. over 35 ft., and Hole 30, which graded 0.084 oz. over 95 ft., including 0.127 oz. over 50 ft.
A previous operator, Homestake Mining (NYSE), calculated an open-pit inventory of 218,400 oz. gold to a depth of 200 ft. Work is continuing, with the objective of moving Homestake’s estimated mineral inventory into a proven reserve category. Their analysis included only about 20% of the total mineralized structure.
World Wide also hopes to test for extensions of the Main Vein to the east and west, and also downdip.
Hole 22, drilled to test the eastern portion of the structure, was stopped at 140 ft., owing to difficult conditions, and did not fully penetrate the zone. However, a 35-ft. intersection graded 0.068 oz., indicating that the zone remains open to the east.
Other intersections from the phase two program include:
