World Gold ’89

In the fall of 1989, a major symposium focusing on all aspects of the gold mining industry of North America and Australia will be sponsored jointly by the Society of Mining Engineers of AIME and Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. The Technical Symposium will be held in Reno, Nev. on November 5-8, 1989, with a pre-meeting field trip in Australia and, following the meeting, a field trip in North America.
