Work begins on Nizi project

An evaluation program by a team of geologists from Gold Giant Minerals (VSE) and Gold Fields Canadian Mining has started on the Nizi property, a new gold-silver-zinc discovery southeast of Cassiar, B.C.

A number of high-grade showings were discovered on the property last summer which will be tested during this year’s program of prospecting, soil geochemistry, and geological mapping followed by diamond drill testing. Gold Fields optioned the Nizi property from Gold Giant, agreeing to spend $4 million over five years to earn a 50% interest. Under the option agreement, Gold Fields is obligated to spend at least $200,000 in 1992.
