Some of the best results have come from a cherty iron formation which was not mined by the former operators. Assays released in August ranged as high as 1.23 oz gold per ton across 8.6 ft from this unit. Other good holes included seven fe et grading 0.61 oz gold, three feet assaying 1.17 oz gold, 2.5 ft assaying 0.5 o z gold and 0.19 oz gold per ton across 19.9 ft.

Following completion of the program, the partners will consider beginning a new program which would include bulk sampling for metallurgical purpose s and the p reparation of a feasibility study. Inco Gold, Wilanour and Pronto hold a respect ive 50%, 30% and 12.5% interest in the project. The remaining 7.5% is held by Ro bert Fasken, president of Pronto.
