Fmc of Canada has introduced into the Canadian market a new, continuous-sludge-dewatering, belt-filter press — the Von Roll RPE. Stainless steel construction and a variety of roller coatings provide corrosion protection, and a special design provides easy access for low maintenance and simplified service.
Standard features include: flocculation tank with variable-speed mixing screw, adjustable sludge infeed, high sludge level alarm, cake thickness limiter, pneumatic belt-tensioning and tracking systems, continuous belt-washing devices, variable-speed drive and cable pull safety switches.
Belt widths of 1,000 mm, 1,500 mm and 2,000 mm are available.
Fmc has a trailer-mounted demonstration unit available for custom testing.
