What’s New Impact Crushers Built in Canada

Jadcan Equipment of Bolton, Ont. has built and delivered two impact crushers, new to the Canadian market. The company imported the technology from Kleeman Reiner of Germany and built the impact crushers at manufacturing facilities in Bolton.

The two units are now working at a marble quarry near Perth, Ont., owned by Steep Rock Calcite. The quarry is operated by R.W. Tomlinson Ltd. of Ottawa.

Jadcan has a branch office in Repentigny, Que., and another manufacturing facility in Ste-Anne des Plaines, Que. Vibratory Feeder

Eriez of Canada, based in Downsview, Ont., has introduced a heavy- duty electro-permanent magnetic vibratory feeder. The new unit has a maximum feed rate of 700 tons per hour.

The rugged unit is ac-operated and can be used in applications where controlled feeding of large tonnages is required. Open, flat trays measuring 4×6 ft, 3×8 ft, or 42 inch by 7 ft are available. The unit can be suspended from rods or cables, or furnished with a floor mounting.

The unit’s patented drive mechanism has a low power consumption and is operated by a simple variable transformer-type control.
