A compact, microprocessor-controlled, ambient carbon monoxide monitor has been introduced by Rosemount Instruments of Calgary, Alta.
The unit (Model 2200) measures carbon monoxide in the 0-100-ppm range and displays the results on a digital readout. Results can be displayed in real time or in 8-hour, time- weighted averages. A voltage signal is available for permanent recording devices.
Programmed information is protected from being tampered with by a user access code to guard against unauthorized changes.
Calibration takes less than a minute per month. A signal tells you when the long-life, electrochemical sensor needs replacement.
