Vme Group has delivered its 14,000th articulated dumper — which is more than those of all other manufacturers in the world combined, the company says. Vme’s Volvo bm articulated dumper line was first manufactured more than 20 years ago. Since then, the design has enjoyed worldwide acceptance for job sites involving especially difficult terrain; and several other manufacturers have entered the market with their own product lines.
Vme says it occupies more than half of the world market for articulated dumpers.
In addition to the A25 model introduced last year, the company offers a 20-ton unit and will later introduce a 35-ton A35 model.
All feature efficient Volvo diesel engines and a fully automatic transmission. It is the only articulated dumper on the market with such a transmission.
