A hand-held portable infrared camera is now available from isi Group of Albuquerque, N.M. The unit, called the VideoTherm camera, can give the user actual temperature readouts. The graphics package also includes the date and time, temperature readout, emissivity settings and a programmable annotation line.
A selection of interchangeable lenses allows various fields of view and focal distances to suit individual needs. The camera can be connected to any video recorder for taping all or any portion of an infrared survey for later analysis or review.
