Warrior works Eppler

Western Warrior Resources (WWR-V) has started surface exploration at its Eppler Lake property in northern Manitoba, principally to target magnetic anomalies as potential kimberlites.

The area was the focus of large-scale property activity in late 2004 and early 2005 after De Beers Canada, the diamond-exploration unit of Anglo American (AAUK-Q), took out exploration licences covering 19,400 sq. km.

The De Beers licences surround property held by Warrior and BHP Billiton (BHP-N). Canstar Resources (ROX-V) can earn a 51% interest in the BHP ground through separate agreements covering metal and diamond rights, and the company expects to start drilling targets from an airborne geophysical survey this month.
