The Women’s Association of the Mining Industry has announced the winners of the raffle held at the group’s “Out-of-Africa” fall fair near Toronto.
* First prize: a trip for two to South Africa. Winner: John Bayne (ticket No. 1630).
* Second prize: an African verdite carving. Winner: David Browne (097). * Third prize: a painted ostrich egg. Winner: Lindsay Healey (1392). * Fourth prize: a woven woollen wall hanging. Winner: Stephanie McCrae (2805).
