Waddy Lake finds consistency at Komis

Toronto-listed Waddy Lake Resources has released preliminary results from 19 holes drilled on its Komis gold deposit in northern Saskatchewan.

The program was initiated in the hope of doubling minable reserves. The longest intercept averaged 0.78 oz. gold per ton over 23 ft., while the highest-grade intersection ran 0.81 oz. over 10 ft. Typical intersections ranged from trace to 0.27 oz. across 6 to 10 ft.

Assay results to date are said to be consistent with the thickness and grade of the gold zones previously identified on surface and underground. Final results from the 36-hole, 22,960-ft. program will be used to calculate reserves and determine the mine development plan.
