Waddy Lake Resources (TSE) has announced further drill results from a recently completed program on its Komis deposit near La Ronge, Sask. The 20-hole program was designed to confirm and expand mineral reserves in the A, B, and C zones.
Significant C zone intersections include 65.6 ft. grading 0.30 oz. gold per ton in hole 92-37, and 26.2 ft. grading 0.22 oz. gold in hole 92-38. Three holes in the 9,000-ft. program intersected a new zone known as the Rhy zone. Hole 92-39 drilled in the Rhy zone returned 1.13 oz. gold over 26.2 ft. The company believes that the new intersections will significantly increase the deposit’s preliminary reserves of 562,000 tons grading 0.44 oz. gold in five separate zones.
