VSM, Serem test structure

A follow-up 500-metre drilling program has been initiated by VSM Exploration (ME) and Serem Quebec to test the lateral and depth extensions of a gold-bearing structure recently uncovered at the Gand D property in the Chibougamau, Que., area.

The companies said drilling intersected a shear zone, eight metres in thickness, 60 metres below surface; a 5.3-metre interval returned 2.51 grams gold per tonne, including 2.3 metres of 4.2 grams.

The Gand D property lies just east of Minnova Inc.’s Lac Shortt mine.
