Vista Mines faces management change

As a result, four members of the current board and executive will be leaving. Aaron Fox, Arthur Fox, Nathan Hollick and Frank Remai will step down as company directors. Hollick will also leave his position as manager.

In their place, a new board of experienced and independent directors will be recommended, the company says. Vista International Petroleums, which holds equity in Vista’s mines, will continue to have one nominee on the Vista Mines board.

Vista operates the Bootleg Lake mill on a custom basis. Located Near Creighton, Sask., the mill recently processed rock from the Laurel gold deposit owned by Cameco.

At Vista’s Wekach Lake property, also in Saskatchewan, a 4-hole drill program, which tested several geophysical conductors, intersected a strong shear zone which yielded significant gold values.

Two holes spaced 425 ft apart returned 3.1 ft grading 0.495 oz gold and 1.2 ft grading 0.235 oz gold per ton. Gold mineralization is associated with a quartz-filled shear striking across a dioritic intrusive.
