A drill program is scheduled to begin in mid-February on the Uskik Lake property held by Vista Mines (TSE). The work will test several geophysical targets defined by the company last year. The property is 135 km northeast of La Ronge, Sask. A $300,000 geophysical survey has been approved for the com- pany’s Bootleg gold property near Creighton, Sask. The program will also include 10,000 ft of diamond drilling which will test several previously defined geophysical anomalies.
The company also plans to begin additional work, early in the new year, on the Henning-Maloney gold deposit on the Bootleg property. The program will follow-up encouraging results received from underground exploration in 1988. Vista plans to install a portable hoist over the existing shaft. Pending the receipt of positive exploration results, Vista will carry out a bulk sampling program.
