Aris Mining (TSX: ARIS; NYSE-A: ARMN) this month brought its second mill at Segovia online, lifting the Colombia operation’s throughput by half to 3,000 tonnes per day, senior vice-president Oliver Dachsel says.
The Vancouver-based company expects a step change in output in the next 12 months to 210,000–250,000 oz. of the yellow metal this year and to hit a steady 300,000‑oz. run rate in 2026.
“The expansion increases processing capacity on time and within budget,” Dachsel told The Northern Miner during an industry conference in Boca Raton, Fla. The ramp‑up will progress through the second half as the new mill beds in.
Segovia is Aris’s high‑grade flagship operation in Colombia’s historical Antioquia district, powered by local hydroelectricity and backed by strong community partnerships with contract‑mining partners. Beyond Segovia, Aris plans to bring its Marmato bulk‑mining project online by the end of next year, adding a 5,000-tonnes-per-day carbon‑in‑pulp circuit that will push total production above 500,000 oz. once fully ramped.
