All 15 holes intersected the mineralized zone. Some of the better intersections included 18.3 ft assaying 10.8% graphitic carbon and 18.2 ft grading 13.1% graphitic carbon.
Additional results included 22.4 ft grading 11.3% carbon and 20.2 ft assaying 9.8% carbon. A bulk sample taken from the D zone yielded recoverable graphite grading from 20%-24.3% with a purity and flake size comparable to that recovered from mines in Madagascar — the world’s leading graphite producing country.
Victoria has completed a stripping program over the D zone which will be followed by detailed sampling and mapping this spring. Drill core from the property has been sent for metallurgical testing. This work will identify the various flake sizes, grades and yields available from the deposit. The company also plans to conduct a market study.
