Omni Resources, active on several gold projects in the Yukon, was up 5 cents to $1.25, while Fleck Resources gained 25 cents to $1.18. Fleck has a diversified property portfolio, including a property near the Wellgreen nickel-platinum group metals- copper deposit in the Yukon. Mid- North Resources, active on a number of gold projects in Manitoba, gained 11 cents to 57 cents .
Dolly Varden Minerals was among the busier issues over our report period, gaining 50 cents to 76 cents , with European investors reported to be generating the activity. The company is planning a 20,000-ft drill program on its Red Point property in the Kitsault Valley region of northwestern British Columbia to test three newly-discovered gold showings found along a 2,000-ft long zone.
Dragoon Resources climbed $1.16 to $2.27 on heavy volume. The company (along with Greenstone Resources of Toronto) has a number of intriguing projects in the Kootenay District of British Columbia, ranging from a base metal bet to a gold-silver project. The partners also completed a staking program surrounding the Gill epithermal gold prospect is southeastern British Columbia. Tundra Gold Mines also lost ground, dropping 9 cents to $1.08, and O’Hara Resources slipped 8 cents to 47 cents .
