Vancouver CIM to host student awards

The Vancouver branch of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy & Petroleum (CIM) will hold its annual Student Awards Night on Feb. 29 at the Stanley Park Pavilion.

Technical exhibits by students from the University of British Columbia will be on display.

Guest speaker Brad Marchant, executive vice-president of Triton Mining, will discuss mineral investment in Nicaragua and Argentina.
