USMX acquires Boludo ground

Having acquired the central portion of the historic Boludo Goldfields district in Sonora state, USMX (NASDAQ) now controls 17,500 acres in one of the principal placer areas of Mexico.

Historic gold production in the district is estimated at more than 400,000 oz. and USMX is evaluating areas of known placer potential. It has already identified areas of hard rock potential that may represent the source of the placers.

The targets are to be drill-tested over the coming months.
