Underground work making progress at Mahogany bet

Underground development work is well under way at the Jolu property of Mahogany Minerals Resources and Canadian Premium Resource Corp. in the La Ronge area of Saskatchewan. Preparation of the portal site began in early December and the 13-ft- by-15-ft decline at 15% grade was started shortly after.

The decline will parallel the Rod zone structure and provide a working place for detailed drilling of the ore zone at close spacing. Diamond drilling commenced Feb 23 and all drilling should be completed by the end of April.

Short drifts will be developed in ore for bulk sampling purposes and the results will be used to establish head grades for mill design and feasibility work. All phases of the program are on schedule and the budget for the work is approximately $5.5 million.
