Drilling is under way on the Bend copper-gold deposit in northern Wisconsin, according to operator NDU Resources (VSE). The deposit, which hosts preliminary reserves of 1.9 million tons grading 2.8% copper and 1.1 million tons grading 0.24 oz. gold per ton in two separate sulphide lenses, is part of the Jump River joint venture in which NDU is earning a 54% interest.
NDU is currently infill drilling between hole spacings of 300-450 ft., and will soon begin stepout holes on previously untested areas. The company says it will move a second drill on-site following winter freeze-up.
NDU is preparing to apply for a listing on The Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE).
