U.S. REPORT Bunker Hill moves to cut workforce

Despite reporting increased third- quarter earnings compared with last year, Bunker Hill Mining (TSE) has reduced its workforce at its silver-lead-zinc mine in Idaho by 18%. Bunker recorded third-quarter unaudited net income of US$910,164 compared with $242,694 for the same period in 1989.

“We’re taking this action to conserve cash and to maintain profitability in response to a weakened economic outlook,” President Jack Kendrick said.
