Eight recent reverse-circulation holes drilled by Tyler Resources (TYS-V) at the Bahuerachi copper deposit in southwestern Chihuahua state, Mexico, have returned long intersections mineralization.
The holes tested an area between the deposit’s North and South Porphyries. Among the better intersections was a 100.6-metre intersection that ran 1.09% copper, 0.67% zinc and 6.7 grams silver per tonne, with molybdenum and gold credits.
A 138.7-metre intersection in another hole graded 0.6% copper and 0.29% zinc, with 7 grams silver per tonne, and a third hole cut 106.7 metres grading 0.88% copper, 0.15% zinc and 5.3 grams silver per tonne. Other intersections ranged from 17 to 152 metres in length, with copper grades around 0.3% and credits in zinc and silver.
Based on a 0.2% copper cutoff grade, Bahuerachi has an indicated resource of 135 million tonnes grading 0.49% copper, 0.08% zinc, 0.009% molybdenum, 0.05 gram gold and 4.3 grams silver per tonne. Another 134 million tonnes, grading 0.36% copper, 0.02% zinc, 0.005% molybdenum, 0.03 gram gold and 2.1 grams silver per tonne, is inferred.
Results from six diamond-drill holes are pending; the information will be used to provide an updated resource calculation, currently expected in March.
