Tyler cuts widest mineralization yet at Bahuerachi

Vancouver – The latest two holes in the Main zone, have cut the widest mineralized intervals to date on Tyler Resources‘ (TYS-T) Bahuerachi project in Mexico.

Drilling continues to define high-grade breccia/skarn bodies carrying copper, gold, silver and zinc associated with smaller mineralized porphyry bodies. Consistent overall grades and geology continues to depths beyond 300 metres on section 345-North.

Hole 24 averaged 314.25 metres of 0.47% copper, 0.46% zinc, 0.04 gram gold and 7.7 grams silver per tonne starting from a depth of 2.45 metres. Included are a 21-metre interval grading 4.7% zinc and 20.4 grams silver and a 23.25-metre interval that graded 2.04% copper and 28 grams silver.

Hole 25, starting from 6.8 metres down hole, intersected 148.5 metres that averaged 0.49% copper, 0.35% zinc, 0.12 gram gold and 8.8 grams silver. This includes two higher grade intervals of 73.1 metres grading 0.9% copper, 0.7% zinc, 0.23 gram gold, and 16.7 grams silver and 34.5 metres grading 1.47% copper, 1.26% zinc, 0.5 gram gold and 28.7 grams silver per tonne.

Tyler says that the copper grades at Bahuerachi stack up well when compared to other similar deposits and the presence of gold, silver, zinc and molybdenum could add considerable value. The persistent substantial mineralization bodes well for the company’s plans for an open-pit style, bulk mineable deposit.

Encouraged by the drilling success so far, the company has tendered bids for an additional 10,000 metres of diamond drilling and 5,000 metres of reverse circulation drilling.

Crews have completed drilling holes 26 -31 and continue drilling the Main Zone with hole 32 now under way.
