Tyler buys claims at Lac de Gras

In exchange for $60,000 cash and 200,000 common shares, Tyler Resources (TSE) has acquired a 92,000-acre property just north of the BHP-Dia Met discovery in the Northwest Territories.

Tyler plans to run an airborne geophysical survey over claims to identify target areas for ground follow-up. Geochemical and geophysical prospecting for kimberlite and eclogite indicator minerals will commence this summer. The exploration program will be directed by Jens Hansen who, according to the company, was one of the first geophysicists to apply magnetics, electromagnetics and other geophysical techniques to the discovery and evaluation of kimberlites and who has worked on diamond exploration projects all over the world.
